As a young boy I used to help my stepfather in the production of films. I learned from him as he directed many educational films and acting roles. But, I separated from the film industry to work in aerospace. Now my background is calling me back into it. Out of practice in a new technology is a new world. I find this extraordinary and interesting. Now I wonder if I will continue filming and break a leg or two.

A Special Comment about "The Kingdom"

"The Kingdom" Movie (2007) is a fantastic film!!! ...Well, maybe. I hope so. I only say this because I was in it. I was portraying a Saudi Arabian National Guard (SANG) soldier. I had a uniform somewhat similar to the one in the photo below with rifle and sidearm. I wore a short and grayish beard. I was in the background of Jamie Foxx and Jennifer Garner (far away). I enjoyed working with Peter Berg, the director. Another take was probably from a helicopter because I did not see the camera under the 110+Deg.F (43.3C). This film took a lot of effort to make. In any case please go see the film the first weekend it comes out being April 20, 2007 (the first planned release), September 28, 2007 or any other time they release it. Please - spread the word. If the movie is bad, I know nothing. That's just a guy looking like me. Thx. NOTE: THE KINGDOM ON DVD RELEASED ON DECEMBER 26, 2007

Prayer for Obama

This video has a special ending. It illustrates the pending lawsuits against President Barak Obama concerning his citizenship. The introductory music took about 10 minutes to write. The second music took over six hours to write. Because I liked the second song which I call "Prayer for Obama" I decided not to voice over the music. That is the reason for the longer body of the video in the center before the final prayer. Hope you like it.

Ruben Lara acting as Fidel Castro gets his feelings hurt because he wanted Barack Obama to become a communist. Fidel Castro then finds out Barack Obama won't make it as an american president because he won't even help his own half brother. Fidel Castro also realizes Barack Obama made a terrible mistake by underestimating the power of Hillary Clinton and women.

Fidel Castro talks about how John McCaine brings the real change that america wants with Sarah Palin and the power of the NRA.

S.I.S.

You are welcome to watch "S.I.S." on Spike TV Sunday, August 24, 2008. If you do, Can you find me? What am I doing and where? The movie will air at 10:00PM - Midnight, ET/PT. The stars in the film are Matt Nable, Peter Stebbings, Omari Hardwick, Colleen Porch and Keith David. Producer John Herzfeld wrote and directed the film. Clue: Black beard.

What does "S.I.S." stand for? Special Investigative Section. It is a police story about the Los Angeles Police Department. Some people believe that S.I.S. is a true section of the police department. You can be the judge.

What about the actors? I can tell you that I was impressed with the dedication of the crew, cast and extras. I feel bad for the lady extra who fell during the filming and cut her chin on the concrete probably resulting in several stitches. I hope she's doing well now.

As far as I can tell, actors like Matt Nable, Peter Stebbings and Omari Hardwick are very dedicated. They seem to have a very strict concentration. I can tell they have worked hard in learning their skills.

Keith David is the king actor in this movie. He has a deep voice that makes the ground vibrate. After many takes of repeating the same scene for several camera angles I wondered about his deep and strong voice. I commented him, "I hope your voice keeps going after so many takes." His reply was, "Huummm." It was thundering loud! Yes, he has a strong voice! Keith David is a fine and seasoned actor. He is the pride of all who work around him.

Then there was Colleen Porch. This is where my eyes were most of the time. My eyes were uncontrollably scanning her from top to bottom. I did this so many times that I was getting dizzy. I can tell you that definitely she has a bright future ahead of her. Looking at her work made me feel relaxed and at home. Colleen Porch makes a great combination with the acting of Keith David. I can tell you her fragrant acting is in her heart. You must look at this movie.

Director John Herzfeld did well with all these actors. John Herzfeld reminds me of my stepfather, also a film director, in the way he works. He is quality minded one hundred percent of the time. Mr. Herzfeld can tear you up with his eyes if you are out of line but if he smiles you feel like dancing. Now you know why working with this bunch and friendly crew was so good. I learned some attitudes that I can use during the filming of my film which I'm writing directing and producing on my own.

I have a lot or work ahead of me.
